Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area along with a delegation of 11 small and medium-sized companies visited greater Philadelphia on November 5 – 8th to explore new exporting opportunities in the US.

Led by Lord Mayor, Mealla Campbell and Alderman Stephen Moutray, Chair of the Economic Development and Regeneration Committee, Council representatives visited a range of organisations to promote the wider borough and its growing international credentials in business, tourism, construction, creative industries and food and drink.

The four-day mission focused on growing trade, investment and tourism opportunities and on highlighting the borough’s economic priorities and development. Irish Chamber members were happy to meet with the delegation and establish important links with Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council and the Philadelphia region.
