Aramark to mark milestone at new HQ

Aramark is scheduled to illuminate its corporate “star person” logo early Tuesday evening, the first time the logo will light up since it was set atop the company’s new global headquarters at 2400 Market St. in Philadelphia.

The company took its logo off of 1101 Market St., where it had maintained its headquarters, in August and cleaned the sign in preparation for it to be placed atop of the building that houses its new corporate offices.

Aramark is in the process of moving its 1,200 employees from 1101 Market St., where the company has been based for decades, into half of the 9-story, 650,000-square-foot building at 2400 Market. It expects to complete the move during the next 30 days, a company spokesman said.
