Eileen McDonnell and Penn Mutual Place in Final Four in 2017 EY Award National Competition for Financial Services

We’re excited to share with you that on Saturday evening, November 18, Chairman & CEO Eileen McDonnell, representing Penn Mutual, placed in the Final Four for the Financial Services category in the 2017 Ernst and Young (EY) Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards competition.

The EY Awards program is a year-long process, with approximately 10,000 entrants across 11 industry categories.  Twenty-five financial services companies were ultimately invited to attend the finals in Palm Desert, CA.  Penn Mutual was selected as only one of four companies to serve as finalists.

“While we didn’t take home the overall category trophy, I’m so proud of the efforts of the entire Penn Mutual team that enabled us to be considered for this honor,” said Eileen.  “I’m grateful to work with such an amazing group of people from across the country!”

In June, Eileen was the recipient of the 2017 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year, Greater Philadelphia award in the “Transformational” category at Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center, which automatically entered her into the National Entrepreneur of the Year competition.
