WILMINGTON, Delaware, November 29, 2017 – SmartInvest Ventures (“SmartInvest”), an international venture capital firm, announced today that Martin Hunt, joins the team as a general partner, along side Charles “Chuck” Kerrigan, Fred Hosaisy and managing general partner, Gerry Moan. With more than 25 years of experience in private equity, insurance, strategy consulting and investment banking with over $20 billion in M&A transactional experience, along with degrees from the Harvard Business School and Swarthmore College – where he was a McCabe scholar, Mr. Hunt brings both his expertise and local connections to SmartInvest’s newest geographical focus – Delaware.

Mr. Hunt’s experience as the founder of multiple start-ups with successful exits, including a private equity search fund, and roles as the former Chairman and CEO of a leading cable installation assembly company, as well as founder and managing director of a lower middle market strategy consultancy increases the value provided by SmartInvest’s partners to both their investors and their portfolio companies.
