LONDON (Alliance News) – Greencore Group PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Kevin O’Malley as a non-executive director effective immediately.

The FTSE 250-listed convenience food businesssaid O’Malley was most recently the US Ambassador to Ireland until January 2017.

O’Malley co-founded the O’Malley Law Firm in 1989, which later merged with St Louis-based law firm Greensfelder, Hemker and Gale PC, where he spent 11 years as partner.

“We are very pleased that Kevin is joining the board. Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to support the group’s overall growth and in particular our vision to build a large scale, high performing convenience food business in North America,” Chairman Gary Kennedy said in a statement.
