Jefferson CEO battling COVID-19 on multiple fronts, expects ‘immense’ impact on health care providers

The coronavirus pandemic slammed Jefferson Health and Thomas Jefferson University on multiple fronts.
“We are among the largest health systems in Philadelphia and our university has two campuses in the city and a third campus in Rome,” said Dr. Stephen Klasko, the health system’s CEO and the university’s president. “We are also the second-largest employer here. During the pandemic you are seeing employers have issues, you’re seeing health systems have issues and universities have issues. We have them all.”
