That would be the Irish America Magazine first ever Health and Life Sciences Awards, which took place in the fabled New York Yacht Club last night co-presented by ICON Clinical Research, IABCN Ambassador Club Member and Ireland’s leading drug research company with 11,000 employees. ICON was represented by CEO Ciaran Murray and a dedicated staff from Dublin.

Coca-Cola has held its position as the biggest-selling brand in the Irish grocery market for ten years, according to the latest Checkout Top 100 brands report.
Avonmore Milk and Brennans Bread are the second and third biggest selling brands in the country and have remained long-term favourites with Irish consumers, holding their respective positions for the last five years.

On Aug. 6, 2014, Ireland’s president signed into law the Employment Permits (Amendment) Bill of 2014, which reworks permit criteria and categories.
The changes will be effective in September 2014, and the purpose of the legislation is to codify the Irish immigration system and expand the lists of eligible occupations and highly skilled occupations. Employers are anticipated to have an easier time clarifying rules and processes. Nine categories have been created under the policy update.
