IABCN Founder & Chairman, Bill McLaughlin, and President, Kevin Kent, represented the Chamber at the 2014 New York New Belfast Conference.

The purpose of the conference is to build bridges of mutual benefit between New York and Belfast. The conference spotlights the bridges of progress and prosperity being built between the citizens of these two great cities. This year, the headline sponsor was IABCN member, KPMG.

German software giant SAP is to increase investment in its Business Objects Software Ltd.’s Development Centre in Ireland. The centre which is located at SAP’s facility in Citywest Dublin will create 60 “highly skilled” roles in Predictive Analytics.

The highly anticipated Croke Park Classic will see Dublin’s city centre rolling out the green carpet for fans from all over the world, having sold over 40,000 tickets already to the 69,000 seat capacity game. Irish officials have expressed their enthusiasm to introduce many in Ireland for the first time to the thrilling experience that is American college football, and numerous tailgating events have already been scheduled.
