Philadelphia’s historic Reading Terminal Market has been no stranger to change recently.

The Covid-19 pandemic prompted the iconic venue to largely shift its business online, fueling explosive growth on its digital Mercato platform.

On May 6, the market will welcome its new general manager Conor Murphy. Anuj Gupta, who has served in the role since 2015, is headed to work as U.S. Rep. Dwight Evans’ chief of staff.
