Almac Group Reports Further Growth During Period of Significant Global Expansion

2017-18 figures record turnover increased by £17 million with 8% growth in global workforce

Craigavon, N.I., 03 Jun 2019 – Almac Group, the global contract pharmaceutical development and manufacturing organisation, has reported a £17 million rise in turnover from £531 million to £548 million for 2017-18.  Pre-tax profits were recorded at £27 million whilst average employee figures increased by 8% from 4,407 to 4,798 for the same period. The figures were recorded in Almac’s annual report with its results for the year ending 30 September 2018.

Gola Corporate Real Estate takes big step into Philadelphia

Gola Corporate Real Estate has decided to open a Center City office after four decades with its base in the suburbs.

The company has taken a small space in MakeOffices in Commerce Square at 2001 Market St. It will continue to have an office on the Boulevard of the Generals in Norristown, where it has long maintained its headquarters.

Over the years, the company has entertained the idea of opening a Philadelphia office, but never made the commitment to do so until now, said Mark Gola. “We dabbled with the thought in the past because we would do a handful to 10 deals downtown each year, but we were always waiting for the right person,” he said.
