Cohort II of the Veterans Entrepreneurial Jumpstart (VEJ) program is now scheduled for October 28 to November 5, 2016.  It will be held on the Saint Joseph’s University campus in Philadelphia, PA.

This program is offered at No Charge to eligible veterans. The deadline for applications is July 1, 2016.  Interviews will be conducted through July 29.  Notification of acceptance will be sent by August 5.

Ireland_(MODIS)Ireland has risen nine places to seventh out of 61 countries in the 2016 IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook.

The IMD survey is a closely watched report published by the Swiss business school since 1989.

It compares countries based on both statistics available from a range of domestic and international sources and a survey of global executives.

It ranked Ireland first for growth in GDP or annual economic output, flexibility and adaptability of people and finance skills.

[The] ceremony was all about the strong roots the Irish have put down in the United States over the centuries. It is quite an honour for Mother Ireland to have a tree planted for her at the Capitol. Irish Senator Mark Daly, who came up with the idea to commemorate the leaders of the 1916 Rising, was told in a letter from Boyle in April that it “only happens three or four times a century”.
