Board member leads off the first MVP “EXPY” Awards dinner

FIRST MVP “EXPY” (“Excellence in Preserving Youth Sports”) AWARD PRESENTS HONORS & SPORTS LEGENDS PANEL

Philadelphia, Pa—June, 2014—On May 31, the Sports & Education Expo, in partnership with SMART (Strengthening the Mid-Atlantic Region for Tomorrow), drew 250 attendees to its first MVP “EXPY” Awards dinner and sports legends panel recognizing “Excellence in Preserving Youth Sports” celebrating 12 recipients at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The EXPY award honors those who are dedicated to providing innovative community service and support programs for the region’s youth and veterans through educational, sports and health programs. A portion of proceeds was donated to honored organizations.

The Sports & Education Expo, based in Moorestown, NJ, was created for parents of children 5-18, youth coaches, athletic directors, athletic trainers and school counselors who serve our youth on the playing field and in the academic arena, as well as valued military and veteran families.
