The Irish American Heritage Museum is seeking to hire an Executive Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of the museum; engage in marketing, grant-writing, and fundraising; promote cultural and educational activities; create exhibits and live and on-line events; and serve as the official spokesperson for the museum.  A copy of a full job description may be found at the museum website:

The museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit created by the New York State Legislature (1986) and permanently chartered by the Board of Regents of New York as an educational institution in 1992. Through exhibits, programs, and a growing library, the museum explores “the contributions, history, and culture of Irish people in America, and fosters dialogue and exchange between America and Ireland today. By sharing our stories, we strive to create connections and community between all Americans, as we appreciate and study the universality of the immigrant story in American history.
