Almac Group to hire hundreds of new employees at its three Philadelphia-area sites

Almac Group, a global contract pharmaceutical development and manufacturing organization that has its U.S. headquarters in Montgomery County, said Tuesday it is planning to add 300 people across its U.S. operations over the next three years.

The majority of the new jobs will be in the Philadelphia region, where the 53-year-old company has operations in Souderton, its U.S headquarters; Lansdale and Audubon. The company has more than 1,500 employees at those three locations.

Almac, which has its global headquarters in Nothern Ireland, also has U.S. offices in Durham, North Carolina, and San Francisco. Read More

Donegal Connect 2021 has been officially launched with an exciting Programme of Events to take place virtually on Thursday October 28th. The key themes for this year’s event focus on starting a tech business in Donegal and showcasing inward investment in the region.

Ambition is an exciting new pre-accelerator programme of Irish Chamber members at the Local Enterprise Office in County Donegal which focuses on early-stage female entrepreneurs and promotes the skills and resilience needed to develop globally scalable ventures, attract investment and create jobs.

This programme is open to women outside Donegal, part of our Donegal Diaspora, and women who have a connection with Donegal.
