The IABCN collects and stores certain personal data through our Website, in person, or over the phone for the reasons set forth above. In order for the IABCN to collect this information, you must consent to the collection of your personal data. The IABCN will only use your personal data for the purposes established in this policy, unless we discover another purpose that is in line with the IABCN’s original purpose for collection. If you do not consent to the collection of your personal data, the IABCN may not be able to completely and fully provide you with all of our Services.

Rights of the Website Users in the GDPR Jurisdiction.

  1. Right to Access. You have the right to request copies of your personal data from the IABCN. Users can access their personally identifiable information that we have collected and still maintain by contacting us as described below in “Contact Us.” To protect your privacy and security, we may also take steps to verify your identity before granting access to your personally identifiable information.
  2. Right of Rectification. You have the right to request that the IABCN correct any information you believe to be inaccurate. You also have the right to request that the IABCN complete any information you think is incomplete.
  3. Right to Erasure. You have the right to request that the IABCN erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  4. Right of Restriction of Processing. You have the right to request that the IABCN restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  5. Right of Data Portability. You have the right to request that the IABCN transfer the data we have collected to another organization or directly to you under certain circumstances.
  6. Right to Object to Processing. You have the right to request to object to the IABCN’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  7. Right to Not be Subject to Automated Individual Decision-Making. The Website User has the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that produces legal effects concerning them or has a similarly significant impact on them.
  8. Right to Withdraw Consent. If you have provided the IABCN with consent to use your personally identifiable information, you have the right to withdraw that consent easily at any time. You may withdraw your consents by filling out the form located here, www.iabcn.org/gdpr. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of our use of your personally identifiable information in reliance on that consent before it was withdrawn.
  9. How to Exercise Your Rights. If you would like to exercise any of your rights as described in this Policy, you may do so by contacting us directly at abarry@iabcn.org. We are not obligated to make a data access or data portability disclosure if we cannot verify that the person making the request is the person about whom we collected information or is someone unauthorized to act on such person’s behalf. Any personal information we collect to verify your identity in connection with your request will be used solely for verification. Users may stop the IABCN from contacting them at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in the emails received from the IABCN.
  10. Important Notice to Users Outside of the U.S. The IABCN operates in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide may be transferred to the United States or another governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction.
