The Gold Star Family Documentary is part of The Wages of War Documentary Film Series (Remember The 27 Crusaders, Edison 64, Lads of Swampoodle). Our Documentary explores: What a Gold Star Family is, the history and significance of The Gold Star Family, Long-term impact and collateral damage of a service members death on their family, Gold Star Family support groups and their function, purpose and goals, Memorials, Monuments, Testimonials, Tributes to fallen service members and their importance to Gold Star Families and Programs to support the Gold Star families.
Our story is told primarily through first person interviews with Gold Star Family Members, Service members who served with their fallen brothers and sisters in arms, Military personnel, Historian’s and Gold Family Supporters. We’re also going to explore several commonalities Gold Star Families experience conflict to conflict, generation to generation and family to family.
