The PDE’s Officers and Directors are pleased to announce the 2015-16 PDE Scholarship Program. As a member of the PDE, all eligible children of employees throughout your company can benefit from this program. Please pass this information to colleagues and your HR Dept. or whoever manages scholarship within your company.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants to the PDE Scholarship Program must be:
– Dependent children of full-time USA, Puerto Rican or Canadian employees of PDE member companies as of the application deadline. There is no minimum employment service required.
– The first 125 applications received by April 1, 2016 will be eligible for evaluation.
– Current high school seniors who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.
AWARDS
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,000 award. Up to four awards (2 merit based and 2 based on financial need) will be granted. Awards are not renewable.

PDE Scholarship Mission
The PDE Scholarship’s Mission is to administer the PDE scholarship program funded by the PDE membership. The Committee will, as appropriate, direct current awards, develop new awards, suggest monetary parameters and oversee award funding to select individuals
and/or organizations within the membership, industries and region served by the PDE.
