As we heard from Irish Ambassador Anne Anderson at our annual Ambassador’s Awards Luncheon on March 5th, one of her top three agenda items is Immigration. The panel, moderated by Dr. Kenneth Weidner of Saint Joseph’s University, will discuss these issues from a variety of perspectives:
– Dr. Laura Crispin, Department of Economics, will explain the economics of immigration.
– Katelyn Hufe, Esq., of Haden & Vandenburg will discuss legal issues related to immigration.
– Taylor Heil ’16 (International Relations/German) will provide perspective from her studies and her recent participation in the Winter Immersion Trip to El Paso, sponsored by SJU Campus Ministry.
