One of our Chamber’s early events was a networking breakfast with Riverdance’s manager. Riverdance was performing in Philadelphia in the early 2000s. Chamber founder, Bill McLaughlin, contacted the manager and invited him to meet Chamber members and share a behind-the-scences look at all that’s involved with the production, moving from city to city, and housing the performers, etc.

Gaelchultúr would like to support the Irish language community abroad during this difficult period, therefore they are offering a discount of €20 on the price of their summer course to Irish Chamber members and friends. The classes taking place on Saturday are particularly suitable for those based outside Ireland (the full schedule is available in the course brochure, which is attached to this message and can also be downloaded here.) To avail of this special discount, use the code “pobalidirnáisiúnta2020” when registering for a class (you can register by clicking here).
